For over 37 years...
LOIRE INDUSTRIE was created in MARCH 1971 by Mr. JOANNES ROMAGNY. Its installation at ST CHAMOND (42) was dictated by the town’s favourable geographical situation close to an important motorway network, and the region’s vocation for metallurgy and mechanical engineering.
In 1990, LOIRE INDUSTRIE joined the TROUVAY ET CAUVIN Group, which sold the Company in 2002 to the FMDL HOLDING (FORGES ET MECANIQUE DE LA LOIRE), specialists in free forging and ring rolling and directed by Mr. RICHARD ROMAGNY, the son of our Company’s founder.
In September 2006, the FDML HOLDING merged with the Italian Group FORGITAL, the European leader in ring rolling and, in this way, gave new boost to the whole Group. With all its experience and the support, both technical and financial, provided by the group, LOIRE INDUSTRIE has reinforced its position as a specialist in the supply of flanges and forged parts and has developed its range of products to adapt to both national and international markets.
LOIRE INDUSTRIE also possesses a branch in the South of France at LES PENNES MIRABEAU (13) which is in permanent contact with leading contractors in Northern and Central Africa..
