Logistics Team
At LOIRE-INDUSTRIE, logistics is a transverse service!
A coordinated, fast-moving team made up of four sections:
- Stores
- Packaging
- Logistics
- Dispatch
In terms of supervision, the department is organized so that there is always a department manager together with a replacement supervisor.
The stores team’s mission is to prepare orders and enter stock
For improving our reactivity, members of the logistics section are delegated to the works (we work in two shifts throughout the year). Their role is to optimise flows, to dispatch blanks or semi-finished parts for the different machines and to check that production is in compliance with plans before parts are sent to our packaging unit.
The packaging team handles identification and packaging operations.
The dispatching department handles the delivery documents and interfaces with carriers so that customer orders can be dispatched daily.
All these people play a very active role in the logistics chain. Also, they are professionals who provide very high levels of quality.
Handling resources available: Fork-lift trucks, overhead cranes, etc.
The personnel have been given training courses on using all these types of machinery, validated by an independent outside body.
